In 1995, in collaboration with a group of artists from South Lakeland, Jill founded the Green Door Artist’s Studios in Kendal Cumbria.
She is instrumental in instigating Artist’s residencies in South Lakeland schools and colleges and is currently Senior Lecturer in Painting and Art Education at the new University of Cumbria
